Old Fire Station Blog

News, happenings and goings on from the Old Fire Station, Oxford

Welcome to the Listening Room…

Just over two weeks ago, The Listening Room burst onto the Oxford music scene with performances from Oxford based groups, FREADA, THE SEA THE SEA and KILL MURRAY. A new regular music night (monthly from Jan 2014), The Listening Room promises the opportunity to make the most of your Sunday by hand selecting the best up and coming music locally and further afield. It’s a chilled out affair so sit back and check out the photos, read what the audience had to say and then pop the next one in your diary (it’s the 20th Oct just so’s you know)…

Philip M, audience member at the first fantastic night had this to say,
It was great to experience the local music scene, enjoy a well-paced event and see three different bands in one night for only £7! Definitely up for the next one!”

Really good night. Great to see local music given a good platform” Ed B.

Turned up late like you would if you were there to see only one of the bands, caught the second half of the one before and wished I’d been there for the whole thing…” Fiona R
